CHASM - The Rift The Unofficial Strategy Guide Written by Cris Ramon, Revised by Josh Miller Section 1: Getting started Chasm is very tough, so before starting off make sure you have a good layout of the controls. With most 3D games nowadays mouse/keyboard combos seem to work the best. I have a unique way of setting up the keyboard and mouse. It goes: Keyboard: Up arrow key: up! Down arrow key: down Left arrow key: strafe left Right arrow key: strafe right Changing weapons: \ Mouse: Left button: kill [:>) Right Button: jump Make sure the 'mouse look' option is always on and also make sure that run is always on; however, you can always make up your own control layout, it really does not matter. Section 2: Weapons and tools of the trade Weapons 1. Shotgun: This is a decent weapon. Since it has unlimited ammo the Shotgun makes for a handy weapon against little critters like the Scorpions, and it is the best weapon for removing the limbs off of the Jokers, and in multiplay it is handy as a last chance against a frag. 2. Super shotgun: This weapon was handy ever since the first day I tried it! It is the best weapon to be used all the time. The speed, power, and common ammo is great for just about anything. It even works well in multiplay! Use this weapon as your all-around weapon. 3. BladeGun: It works well against weaker creatures and against fast ones too. The only problem is that the BladeGun eats ammo fairly quickly, and against stronger creatures it takes a lot to kill the creature. 4. Arrow gun: Good weapon for stronger creatures, or any creature for that matter. Like the Shotgun, this is an excellent weapon when used on limbs. The major problem is that ammo is scarce...(tip: use it on Scorpions, and watch the gibs fly!!!) 5. Volcano: This is the best weapon for quick creatures; however, it is not good for armored creatures like the Punisher or Viking. This is the best weapon against the Mincer. It is also effective at keeping most of the monsters at bay. 6. Grenader: Very good on any basis, and also good for taking out the strongest of creatures. Just don't get too close. 7. Land mine: Good for traps and multi-play. The only problem with this weapon is the amount of ammo you can carry and the radius of the blast. Use your map when using this weapon since the map shows the creatures around you. Then lay your Land mine and fire a shot to bring out the critter! Boom! 8. Dimension Detonator: Let's just say it packs one helluva powerful wallop... Tools of the Trade Helmet: A very nice thing. Armor is like health, and takes all the damage. This gives you 100 extra points of armor. Armor: 200 points! I recommend that you try to preserve your armor since it is quite rare. "Mini" Health: 20 extra health points. It is quite valuable. Double health: 100 points. This gives you 100 points of health. It is important that you save these until they are very important. (i.e. don't pick 'em up until needed) Invisibility: This helps you to prepare sneak attacks. Keep at a distance though, if you get too close the creatures will notice and attack. Chojin mask: God mode. This is where you can do suicide runs with a Grenader(fire at close blank range). It only lasts for a while, so don't waste it! Reflector: This reflects whatever enemies throw at you, and returns it back to them; however, make sure there are enemies that fire projectiles around when you pick this up. Keys: You need these to enter doors in most of the levels. Be careful though... most are booby trapped. Section 3: Monsters Appears on E1, E4 Mong: Just like the Sergeants in Doom, these guys are armed with Shotguns. They are not much of a threat alone, but in groups they're pretty hazardous. Use the Super shotgun on them. Appears on E1, E4 Faust: Armed with a rocket launcher, this guy makes a Baron of Hell look like Barney singing a song. If you manage to survive his first attack, use a Super shotgun, Arrow gun, or Grenader on him. Strafing will allow you to avoid the rockets that are fired. Appears on E1, E4 Stratos: These guys are armed with "Arrow guns" and jetpacks. Grenader never works and neither does the Arrow gun. Use the BladeGun and/or Super shotgun. Appears on all the episodes Scorpion: A little arachnid to make your life a living hell...use anything, it doesn't really matter. Appears on E1 Turret: They fire lasers which take plenty of health away from you. Fortunately, they are stationed only at one point so use that to your advantage. Heavy firing weapons work well. Appears on E3 Joker: Batman would scream if he saw this guy. Armed with a BladeGun, this guy will make you think twice about Bozo the Clown. Use either the Shotgun or the Super shotgun, and aim at his arm with the gun. Appears on E3 Skeleton: He uses his sword and fires a projectile from it. The problem with this creature is that he is hard to kill since he has armor. A fun thing to try is to remove his arms and head, in which case, he can't do much! Use the Super shotgun, Arrow gun, and/or Grenader. Appears on E2, E3 Punisher: He uses an axe and can throw additional axes. The Super shotgun works particularly well, as do the Arrow gun and BladeGun. The Grenader is good at stunning them. Appears on E3 Viking: He is pure hell! All weapons virtually do no harm, and he can kill you in a few seconds! He is fast and armed with an axe! What can you do? Land mines work well from a distance, and so does the Grenader. Up close, use a Arrow gun or Volcano. If you have a Super shotgun, use it at a SAFE distance. Appears in E3 Werehog: They are fast and annoying, and in packs they can kill quickly. Fast weapons like the Volcano and BladeGun will help. Never use a Grenader, and use the Super shotgun at a distance. Appears on E2 Gross: The Shotgun, Super shotgun, Arrow gun, and Land mines are all useful. Use the Volcano to keep them back. Appears on E2 Lionman: A cool cat, this guy will tear YOU up instead of your furniture. He is armed with a shield and mace. Weapons like the Super shotgun, BladeGun, Land mine, and the Arrow gun are handy. The Volcano is good for keeping them at bay. Appears on E2, E3 Zombie: He howls and punches very hard, so don't get too close. Hard hitting weapons like the Super shotgun and Arrow gun are good since you need to blast off his head to kill him. Appears in E4 Mincer: They hunt in packs, and are very lethal. The best weapon to use on them is the Volcano because it will stop them dead in their tracks. Appears in E4 Alien soldier: Annoying and armed with a laser. Not that threatening, but in groups its hell... use the Super shotgun. Appears in E4 Alien captain: These have 2 chain guns on them, and are very tough to kill. Use the Super shotgun or Grenader to kill them. The Bosses: Let me just say that there is always a clue on how to kill each one... Section 4: Tips * Using weapon combinations is really handy. * Land mines and the full map code are an excellent way to plan sneak attacks! Simply lay down a mine near the monster that is not "awake", and then fire the Shotgun. The monster will come towards you and will be killed! * When blasting the limbs off of monsters the mouse is the best choice. Make sure that the crosshair IS on. * Circle strafing is good for monsters that have close range attacks. * All monsters except the Scorpion, Mincer and Turret have primary weapons(guns, axes, etc.), secondary(punch, kick). * To do a grenade jump, go next to a wall, face down and fire a grenade. This is good to get out of the pits when you are in god mode or if you happen to have tons of armor/health. Make sure you try and strafe to the left or right while doing this. * Being invisible is good for sneak attacks but it doesn't make you completely invisible... Section 5: The Complete Walkthrough Ok, let's start off this game with a bang! The following is a good intro to the rest of the game, remember: always use stealth, jumping and strafing are your friends, and the Super shotgun should always be fed. (Note: I did this game on a 486/66 on medium level difficulty, and I have not spoiled all the secrets, I exposed a few, but not all!) Episode 1 - The CondemNATION Lvl 1: The Power Station Weapons Available: Shotgun, Super shotgun Enemies: Mong, Scorpion, Stratos You start in an outdoor room, there are 4 lamps in the center. Go forward to the storage areas with the crates. Pick up the Super shotgun ammo, but be careful! There is a Scorpion in the corridor to the left. Kill it and then go back into the rain and into the corridor with the fencing. Go to the door and open it. Pick up the key. Just for kicks, break the window and see the cool effects. Ok the next part stumped me for three hours. Go to the "pillar" door that has a slanted "window" look inside and you will see a switch. But can't reach it. AHHHH! What do you do? First of all if you have a mouse, you're better off. If you have a keyboard, a little work is required. Mouse people first. HOLD DOWN \, and gently maneuver the mouse (with the cursor) until you have it over the switch. Fire and a Mong should come out. Kill the guy and go inside. For keyboarders, strafe and press A and Z to get the cursor over the switch. Moving up and down also helps. Ok now go to the door next to the switch and go inside. Kill the Scorpion and pick up the ammo. Second go down into the corridor with fencing on both sides. Go into the larger corridor. Now go UP (you're facing a sign in the very end of the first fenced corridor) and towards a room with the Stratos. Kill it and get your reward: a Super shotgun! Go back into the corridor and go down. Now you see two doors. Flip the switch that you see and one of the doors will open, but it didn't. There is another way in though, the other door. Now we must find the switch to open it! Go up the corridor with the fencing sticking out of the sides, and you'll see another Stratos. Kill him and flip the switch to the right that switch opens the door you saw earlier, but we are not done yet. Go to the door in front of you and go back into the great outdoors. Kill the Mong and the Stratos around that invaluable helicopter landing spot (where you have to get out). Go around the Helicopter landing fence and flip the switch. But wait! There is a secret! In the second room with the barrel in this large room, there is a secret. Shoot the barrel or jump over it, your choice, and go into the corridor. You'll find a touch plate that makes the pillar in the center of the small room. Pick up the health in the center of the pillar when it moves , and go on. Jump into the water and go forward until you meet an "intersection" . Go to the corridor that is in front of you and keep on going forward until you find another corridor that is to the left. Go in there and yet another Mong will meet you. Kill it and go to your prize: armor! Pick it up and go outside. There is nothing else in the corridors anyways and if you do explore, you'll find it is a ventilation system for the power plant. Now go to the door that you wanted to open earlier. Simply push it and it will open There are three Mongs in this room. Kill them and go around the pillars to the door in the middle. There is a corridor to the upper left. Go there and then go up to the door. Open it and you will see your mission objective: the fans! Go to the switch on the right and there is the switch to activate them, but they are fenced out! ahhh! Go to the upper right corner to a mini corridor and there is a switch, and a Scorpion. Kill the Scorpion and flip the switch. Go to the other switch and flip it too. Good! The windmills are on! Now go to the door that was locked. Open it and hear the alarm. Time to get out! But the exit is fenced off. Go to the room to the left and then turn left again. Go through this corridor , but there are two Mongs. I reccomend that you strafe and kill the Mongs (or snipe) when you see them. Or vice-versa, Pick up the shotgun and health, and ammo in here, and keep on going up. Then you will see a small corridor with a switch! Flip it and go on forward to the fenced area and keep going forward, on to the exit. Good job soldier! Wait for the next briefing... Lvl 2: The Military Base Weapons Available: Shotgun, Super shotgun, Volcano Enemies: Mong, Scorpion, Stratos, Faust Ok, When you start, you see the steel doors will have to open. Go forward then turn left, and kill the Mong sitting among the crates. Immediately, turn the opposite way, and head towards the door you see. Ok, go in and pick up the shotgun, then TURN FAST to the left as you see a door opening. In the room there are two Mongs. Kill them, and then go in. The fences open. Go in either of the tunnels. When you reach the room that connects them, be wary of the wall at the end of the room, when you get too close, it will open, and a Mong will be there...waiting. There is also a switch there too. Flip it and go back to the room you were in, the one with the Mongs. A door has opened with two Scorpions, kill them and go back into the other room where you picked up the shotgun. Keep on going into the other hallway that has opened up, and open the door. Ok, in this room there is one Mong, kill him and then jump over the chair in the corner, and flip the switch there. Now go back outside were that steel door is. The doors now can be opened, but wait, there is something wrong... on the other side there are two Mongs. Kill them, and here is a good tip: Next to the steel door, on the left side if you are facing from the outside, on the right if you are facing from within the base, there is a door that can be opened by shotgun fire. Beware though, there are two Stratos in this outside area too! Inside there is some armor. Now go to the fence door within the base, and go to the end of the hallway. First go to the door to the right room, and kill the Mongs in the room. Flip the switch in here. Then go to the other room, which has now opened, inside there are Mongs and Scorpions. Kill them and go into the room and the door on the right hand side at the end. Now you are in a room with walls that look like glass, and you know what that means.. Smash em! On the right there is a medi-kit. On the left, there is a passage way to a duct. Blow away the duct, and go inside, until you reach the end of the air duct, and there is another duct there too. Destroy it, and go into the room. There is some armor there. A door will open, and you can now go back to the glass room, either by the way you took to get there in the first place or in the way by air duct. In the next room, there is a meat locker. On each North, East, and West walls except south, there is a Mong(E + W) and a Faust (N) which are hiding. To open the east and west doors, fire on them. Kill the Mong, and flip the switches in this order to open the fence in the middle of the room: West, then East. The fence opens, and the key can now be recovered. Beware though, when you pick it up, the wall to the north will open, and there will be an angry Faust waiting there to kill you! Before you pick up the key, switch to the Doubled Barreled shotgun, and get ready to strafe. This way, when he fires, you can't be hit. Once he's dead, go back to the steel door, and open the yellow door to the far right of the base. Inside there is a disabled APC and one Mong. Kill the Mong, and go behind the stairs that you see, there is a Volcano! Now to open a wall so you can continue, go to the door that is at the south east corner of the room, next to the door. Open it, and kill the Mong. There is a Stratos here too, so finish him off. Now flip the switch that you saw when you opened the door. Go back to the APC room, and you will see that a section of the wall near the stairs has opened. to get through it, simply get to the edge of the stairs, and jump on the ledge. Now to the left, there is another ledge, simply get a running start, then jump, and you will get across. If you don't, you can try again. When you are across, go to the niche that is near the door that can't be opened, its not near the switch, simply head up, the turn left, until you see the niche. It will open up, and you will go inside. There are two Mongs, in two seperate cages, go to the right, and kill the Mong there, and flip the switch. Now go left, kill the Mong, and go through the corridor that has opened up. At the end, there is a Scorpion, and a Mong. Kill them, and fli the switch. A bunch of Scorpions will come after you. Go back to the cages, and they will be opened up. Pick up what ever is inside, and flip the switches inside too. Now go back to the hallway, and the door should be opened now. The next area is easy, there is a Scorpion and a Stratos, kill them both, and go through. The next area isn't hard. simply be stealthy, and be careful, since there are Mongs hiding. at the end of the maze, there is the key, when you pick it up, a wall in front of you will open, and two Mongs will be there, kill them, and go back towards the hallway. At the end, near the hallway, another wall, with a Mong and scorp has opened up too... kill what ever is inside, and go outside, to the elevator. kill the Mongs, and flip the switch, your going to level 3... Lvl 3: The Underground Base Weapons Available: Shotgun, Super shotgun, Volcano, BladeGun, Arrow gun Enemies: Mong, Scorpion, Stratos, Faust, Turret When the door opens, you are in a gray, empty room. there are tow doors in front of you, and a door to the left. Take the left door. In that room there is a samll vent fan and two Mongs. Kill the Mongs, and shoot the fan and go into the corridor. (use the Volcano while in the corridor since there are a lot of Scorpions in here) At the end of the vent system, there is a room with a Stratos. Kill him and go through the revolving door. In here there is a Mong. Kill him, and look for a small window in this room, it is left from the door. Shoot it, and then shoot the switch wwithin the room. This opens one of the doors outside. Go outside, but don't enter the door. There is a Turret in that hallway, snipe it, then go inside. Inside there are two Strats, kill them and go towards the closet at the end of the room. One of the doors has a yellow key inside. Go back outside, and open the last door. Inside there is a Strat and a Faust, so use stealth! Jump on the PC at the end of the room, and shoot the fan. Now go through the mini-corridor, and DON'T jump down when you see the Faust in the room with Volcano ammo! Kill the Faust, and Go all the way back to the beginning. Now take the doors to the front. There is a Turret, so be careful. There is also a room in this corridor, that has a shotgun. Go through the corridor until you reach a hall with a Strat. Kill him, and pick the door to the far left. In there there is a Strat, and one Mong. Kill them and reach the switch. Flip it, and go down to the door in the southeast section of the hall, or just look for the one that opens. Go inside, and kill the Mongs in there. Now go to the crates , and open the "crate" door. Inside there is a Faust, aim at his arm with the big gun, and go into the crate room. Jump around the crates, and there is a Strat in this room too, so be careful. At the end of the room, there is a switch and a door. The door will lead back to the hall, and go to the last door. In this room there are two Mongs, go into the corridor, and into the next room, and there will be a Faust. There is also a bladegun. Flip the switches in this room , and go south of the hall. There are three doors, one is the eastern door, The northern door, and the western door. The west door is not locked, go inside( get your gift...), and you will notice there is a mini room with a strat and a switch, but it is covered with bullet proof glass! Go to the Northern door, and go inside. There are three Mongs. Flip the switch, go back the the western door, kill the Stratos, and shoot the switch. Now you have a choice:You can either go back ALL the way to the beginning, and go into the corridors, through the yellow door, through the computer room, into the mini corridor, and into the room where I said don't enter. Well, enter now since this is a way you can do a sneak attack. The other way is going through the door that can now be opened, and you will be cordigially greeted by a strat and two Mongs. Either way, you will land in a room with a globe in the middle, and there is one Mong, one Faust, and one Stratos. Once killed, you need to flip the switches around the door at the west of the globe. Now inside, there is a switch, that when flipped, the door to the north opens for only 6-7 sec. So flip it, then run for it. Inside this corridor, there is a crossbow, and a Mong. Kill the Mong and go on. In the next room, there is a Strat, kill him, and head towards the glass paned doors. Now there is a Faust on the other side. Flip only one switch, and the doors will open a little. Shoot the Faust, then flip the other switch, and the doors will open. Go into the computer room, and flip the switch. Now the doors on the outside will open , showing the nukes! The nuke, second from the glass paned door has a fan. Go inside(after shooting the fan.) and kill the scorps. The next room has three Fausts, and two Mongs. It is the exit, but what is that light... YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH...... Lvl 4: The Pit of Sarcophagus Weapons Available: Shotgun, Super shotgun, Volcano, BladeGun, Arrow gun, Grenader Enemies: Mong, Faust, Sarcophagus Ok, you land in acid! Go to the exit!!!!!!!!!!! what what this ----! The exit has been fenced off! Ok turn around, and head for the "shore" jump into the mini pit with all the goodies. Then go into the hallway with spiky sides. Go to the big door. Green key? No Prob! Now go up then head right. There is a Faust. Here is an idea: hide behind one of the spikes, and the Faust will begin to fire, on the spikes, and this will cause damage to himself. Make sure you are two spikes away though.... Ok, now jump onto the platform, and race to the green key! But..Hey! You open the cages that contain the Mongs! Run back to the spike hall, and you will see another Faust on the other side. Kill him, and go to the door. Now you see a small arena, with armor in the middle. Pick it up, and gt ready to run! (go to the area to the right of the armor.) SARCOPHOGUS! It will take a few moment for the door to open that leads somewhere else, go there. Head up, and flip the switch. Now go behind the pillars and flip the switch, and go back to main arena. Go to the other side, head up until you see a fenced off area that leads to the fan... I think Sarcy needs a haircut.... Now lead Sarcy (who will firing missiles, and trying to chainsaw your head off) When he gets near you and the fence, flip the switch, and the fence opens, strafe to the left into a corridor with a switch. Make sure Sarcs makes it in with you. If he does, he will struggle not to get diced...Blast a good shotgun blast at that poor bastard's crotch, and he will fall into the fan. Pick up the key while trying not to get sliced by the fan , and go into the other corridor (make sure when you first get locked in the fan room, you get into the corridor with the switch.) and go through back out to the arena. Go to the wall named exit, and watch to screen to see what strickland has to say. GOOD JOB SOLDIER! Now you have to do that again in three more episodes! Episode 2 - In Search of Inception Lvl 1: Dead River Weapons Available: Shotgun, Super Shotgun, Volcano Enemies: Gross, Zombie, Scorpion, Punisher Well.... looks like history class in Egypt 101 might pay off.... time to find that time channel! Ok go down towards the pyramid. then turn right. In the next bend there are a few Scorpions. Kill them and then look for an entrance. Can't find one? look back at the cracked wall near were the Scorpions are. There it is! Blast it a couple of times until it finally explodes, then crawl in. Go inside and then go back out. Why? there is a gross in there, with some ammo. Aim at the head, it seems to be a weakspot. Kill him and then go through the room and pick up the Doubled Barreled Shotgun and its ammo! Time to open up a can of whoop-ass! Go through the door and back into the wilderness! Ahead of you there is a Zombie, remember: shoot his head to kill him! Then Turn left and there will be a Scorpion, kill him and go towards the obelisk, notice that ankh? That will be important soon. Continue left into the next courtyard until you see the Zombie. You know the drill! there will also be a Scorpion there too. Then proceed towards the hall in the northwestern corner. Go inside and then go north, kill the Scorpion that you see, and go behind that pillar and flip the switch. Southeast of the switch is a door. Now you see a hall. I see a trap. Fire one round, and then kill the two Zombies and the Scorpions too. Get the ankh, and then turn around to see two Zombie going towards you. Kill them and then go back out. In the 2nd courtyard with the obelisk, there is a "key switch". Go towards the obelisk intil you see a ankh, press use, and it should light red. Go to the third courtyard and open the door in that one. Another Gross, and a Punisher await, kill them, and take the Volcano and the ammo. Now there is a cracked section of the wall. Shoot it, and then go inside. Proceed downward until you reach the intersection. IMMEDIATELY turn left, and kill the Zombie. In this maze there is ammo etc., but there is also Zombies, be careful! When you are done, go back to the intersection were you first entered, and then go the opposite were the Zombie was. follow the hallway, until you find an area with Scorpions and Volcano ammo. Then go to those pillars. WATCH OUT!! After The unique trap falls, go around (the rest do not fall) and go inside. Look's like the pharoahs will have a rude awakening.... Lvl 2: Underdune Weapons Available: Super shotgun, Volcano Enemies: Skeleton, Zombie, Gross, Lionman, Punisher You start in a small room, and automatically pick up the Super shotgun. Good, now go around the room until you find a small hallway. Go in and kill the Scorpion that lays inside, also pick up the ammo, it is too rare in this mission! Now go right from the hallway into a "wall" that seems to have a slit down the middle and a room on the other side with Mummy tombs of ancient pharoahs. Open to "wall" and go inside and pick up the armor. DO NOT flip the switch unless you want to be turned into Mcdonald's next type of meat! The room switches itself , around a bit , so go out the way you came in. Now go inside and kill the gross. go into the hallway form this room and kill the Zombie too. Now there is a small hall with two Scorpions and the Lionman, kill them and flip the switch. Now go back into the hallway and into the left corridor and into a room with Scorpions, kill the Scorpions. Now in the distance , there is a Zombie, to kill him, blow off his head. Mouse aimers merely press and HOLD \ and kill the sorry bastard. Keyboard aimers must use A and Z and use the strafe key a lot. (tip: blow off both arms to make the Zombie stop screaming) No go into the hallway that was fenced off. There is a Lionman, kill him and go into the fenced stairs and into the next room after the fenced corridors. Good, now kill the Scorpion in there , along with the gross and Lionman. Then pick up any health and ammo that you may find. Now go back into the room you started and inot the next room. Kill the Lionman( say HI though!) and go into the next rooms, there is one in particular that has two mini hallways: one with the Scorpion(KILL KILL KILL!), the other leads to the next area you need to go to. Go there and into the room with the two Zombies, and pick up the ammo. Ok now go into the hallway with mini rooms that have blood on them, it should be on to the right from the Zombie room. Go into the first room and let the wall open, now down the corridor, another room is opening up, go inside there quick and kill the Lionman! no proceed down and kill the Scorpions , and flip the switch. Now go all the way back( open that wall by going into the first "mini" room) And to the corridor in front of you. The moment you enter and look into then wall, it will start moving, all the peices will crush you, so be careful! there is a Lionman on the other side, so let him become impatient and get crushed to death, and then go through. That wasn't so bad, was it? Now go down the zig-zag corridor and flip the switch. Immedietly, kill the Lionman that was there and go back up the corridor to the fenced off room, the room that now is opened. Go inside and a gross will be in there. Then pick up your reward. a Volcano! Use it to blow off the limbs of the creatures you kill. No go through to the wall that is to the far right and psuh on it. It should shift and let you go through. You'll be in the tomb room, then go back to the fenced off door. Ok another fence has been removed, time for the last one. Now kill the Scorpion that you see and Go QUICKLY through this room! Then you will find a mini hallway with an L shape. At the end of the L shape there is a deaman who needs a little Volcano to go to sleep. Will you give him some? Flip the switch and then go down to the room that opned up. Pick up the ammo on the ground and then go into the "hell" room. Great now four Scorpions, two Lionmen and 2 Zombies want to send you to the afterlife, will you let them? I guess not... Now kill them all and go outside to the AKNH! YESSS! But wait if you go forward,you will get crushed by the wall. So simply run to the ankh and pick it up. Now you're locked inside this room. Look to the left and fire and a room will be before your eyes! Go into this maze and look for the Volcano ammo, a helmet, and health. Unfortunately, there are a lot of Zombies, so use the Volcano. Now once you are out of here, go into the small hallway room with a corridor stair near the end of it. Kill the Scorpions in this room, and then go into the stairs, and into a replica of the room you were just in! Kill the Scorpions and then go and land on the touchplate to open two doors at the end of the hallway(the one with the "slitted" walls) And kill the Gross, and the Lionman. Go into the Lionman room and flip the switch , and then go into the room with the Gross. Kill it and go on. Now you will find a room with a big square pillar. Go through and kill the Gross , and the Zombies, and don't forget the ammo. The next room has more Zombie and Scorpions, so be careful! flip the switches at the end of the room (notice the wall with fences)and go back to the entrence of the room. Kill the Scorpions and then go into either room. Each has a Punsisher , and a switch to remove the fence for the wall. After flipping the switches, go through and open the wall. Then you will find the room you began in! Go to the tomb and blow it away and then turn around and go to the exit! Good job, now if You where only paid for this... Lvl 3: The Tomb of Death Weapons Available: Shotgun, Volcano, Arrow gun, Grenader Enemies: Every creature from the previous levels will make a grand reappearance! Ok, this lvl is very long, so get ready to start salving out ammo when you need it. Ok , here we go... Whe you start, you see a wall that has an emblem. Go left into the tunnel, then find another emblem to the north of the tunnel, the one with a face. Turn around, and you will see a door open with two Scorpions, and a Shotgun. Kill them, pickup the shotty, and then go back to the tunnel were you began, and go right. Enter the door, and you will see a fenced off switch. You can't get in yet, lets see if we can find a way... Oh, and there is a lionman waiting there too. Go to the right of the switch, jump on the balcony, and then jump again on the platform above the lava. There are two caged off Zombies waiting there, so if you have no explosives, blast off both of their arms. Then jump to the other alcove tand enter the room. There is a Lionman. KILL HIM, since the wall in front will open , and a gross will be there. Kill him, and go to the right, and enter the corridor THAT DOES NOT LEAD TO THE ZOMBIES! Ok go on forward until you reach the platforms, jump on them, and then go onto the last part of the platform, and go north, there is a Scorpion there too. Go all the way to the end, and go north once again, and then turn left into the hall. Then go all the way through the maze, and flip the switch. TURN around, and you will see a gross. Use a long range weapon, and kill him, then go back to the hall you were in. Go once again through the remainder of the hall, and you will reach the platforms that got you there in the first place. Now go back to the corridor to the east of here, the once that I said don't enter. If you have no explosives, Simply run all the way to the last Zombie the is caged at the end of the corridor, and jump inside, the cage has opened up! Inside there are a few Scorpions, and a statue.... SHOOT IT! yeah.. cool! But wait, a door opened up at the other end of the room, and a punisher is inside. Kill him, and take the key. This key opens up the door ALL the way back at the beginning, the one with the face... Go there. Oh, and to open up the cages next to the lava, enter thr room that had the lionman and gross, and go to the opposite sides of the room, and open the doors that have pictures of kings on them. In both there is a switch, and a zombie. Do the usual , pikup the goodies inside the fenced off room, and go to the door at the beginning... Ok open the door, and you will see a switch in the distance, step forward and... TWO ZOMBIES ATTACK! By now, you should have a Grenader, so blast them at a distance with it. Go inside the room with the switch, flip it and keep on going forward, into the room that has opened. Turn right, and you will see a Gross, with a switch. The switch opens the door again, so it is not important now..... Go into the room with the three collums, and kill the Lionmen you see, and flip all the switches inside. The go to the dark corridor to the north. KIll the Gross there, and go forward and flip the switch. Now go back to the beginning again, by going to that switch I said that was not important. This opens the door, go inside, and flip the switch inside too. Now go to the fenced off switch that we first saw in the beginning. The fence opened,so go flip the switch. Behind the room within the room, there is a small window you can jump into, but first kill the two Zombies that are near this. Go onto the platforms above the lava, and into the small window at the end. If you fall all the way in, switch to god mode (chojin) and grenade jump back onto the platforms. Then go into the now open window. Kill scorpy inside, and go onto the bridge, pickup the crossbow, and shoot the bridge on the other side. Jump accross, and you will enter a room that has three Zombies in it. Once killed, go on the left hand side, into the room with another Zombie, and a large emblem of a king. Go into that door, and kill the Zombie, and the Gross, and the Lionman there. Then go into the corridor that looks like a fireplace. Once outside, pick the first three corridors (don't forget to kill the scorps!) to the left, and leave the one at the far right last. Once in the leftern corridors that lead to the same room, flip the switch, turn around and a room has opened up. Kill the unfortunate Lionmen there, flip the switch, and then go to the rightest corridor. Once inside go to the west, and open the fence. Go to the time channel that leads to lvl 4, try to open its fence, but turn around... GROSS! Kill it, and flip the switch, then go back and open the time channel, and go to lvl 8. Lvl 4: The Curse of The Pharoahs Weapons Available: Every weapon Enemies: Lionman, Gross, Zombie, Sphinx Ok you land in front of a fence, but the fence won't open. Turn to the left, and you will see a tunnel, that leads to a spike pit. The spike pit is lethal, so jump across it, and into the room that has the goodies in it. Go into the other rooms that lead away from this room, and eventually to the alcove that faces the spiked pit. Now this one kept me at it for hours.... Now the switch opens the fence... But it will not flip! Now notice above the switch there is an outline of a boulder... SHOOT IT! The boulder will fall, and the switch will flip, the fence will open, and you can now go to the right, this tunnel leads to the fenced off room where you began... In this room there are two platforms, one with a key. Choose the one with a key, and two doors will open up, revealing two Zombies! Kill them, and go to the door with the face of a monster... open sesame! But there is a gross on the other side! Kill him, and then get ready to rumble.... Now you see our friend the sphinx needs to let himself go... Shoot it about 5 times with a Grenader, and a monster will come out.... He fires fireballs, so be careful... Now you have little time to do this.... Strafe to the left or right, firing on the rest of the sphinx... four shots will do it with a Grenader... then go where the remains were, turn right, and then follow the corridor of bones, but there is a Lionman there... fire upon him, and kill him, then enter the time channel... you have only 30 secs to do this before the place falls, and the time channel is destroyed.... But you'll make it! Great job soldier! 2 more! Episode 3 - The Shadow Zone Lvl 1: The City of Dander Weapons Available: Every weapon Enemies: Skeleton, Werehog, Joker, Viking, Punisher Let me say this: This lvl is BIG. Possibly the largest one in the game! I'll give you the best and easiest way to get through this lvl, with some extra stuff at the end on what else there is. On we go... When you start out, you begin on a tunnel style roof platform. There is a shotgun at the end, and a Joker at the bottom. Kill jests, pickup the shotgun, and go onward. Now you will see a town square(the one with a building in the middle, with trees surrounding it) and an alley to the right, take the alley, and you will meet a Joker around the corner of it. Open the door that is in this "alley" and go inside. There is another Joker, and door. Notice the windows in the room... Go inside the door, and kill the Joker on the platform on the far end of the room, and break the window, but don't jump through. You'll see why. Several vikings will appear, so snipe them from the window. Ok once done with them, go left then head up the alley that looks like it has canvas on the top of the wall, northwest from were you entered. Ok once you reach the top of the alley, if you notice a window nearby(its on the granite wall) shoot it, go inside, and kill the Joker. There is a helmet in there! Go through the door, and then head north (you'll see ygor, the viking) enter the alley to the left, go inside and kill the two Jokers. Now this is a beer room... hmm,(in a Irish accent) I would like to spend some time here myself! Now you will see a fenced stairwell in the north east corner, this is next to a plain old stair well. Take the plain one(one to the right). In the tunnel that leads from the stairs(take the right), you will see a dark room, with some armor in the distance, and a green table with one of the seats lit up. Jump on that one, and then go to the armor, by going up the stairs, pick up the armor, and then go to the stairs in the east corner. Now there is a sall dent in the wall next to the stairs. Fire on it. YES! Weapon 8! Dimension Detonator! and some ammo too! Now use this weapon later, go up the stairs, onto the platform. You will then go back to the tunnel that lead from the stairs, go north and wou will see a small set of stairs that leads downward to some Volcano ammo and a Joker. There is also a set of stairs to the north , that leads to the a door that is guarded by two Jokers that leads to the rest of the town. Don't go there yet. Instead head down in the ditch that leads back to beer wonderland, jump on one of the tables near the platform, jump on the platform and head into the room with the werehog, and a key. There is an opening that leads to a skeleton. I won't document what is in here, instead it will be at the end of this lvl's walkthrough, in astricks. Now go back to the door that leads out to the town(in the tunnels) it is very large, and there are Jokers to each end. Kill them and enter the door. Now you will see a granite wall, and a punisher. Kill him, and take the crossbow ammo to the northeast corner. Then go to the north west corner, and go up the street.(and i'm rollin down rodeo wit a shotgun, these people ain't seen an armored marine since their grandparents shot one...) If you head to the left of the bulding in front of you, there is a large door that needs a silver key... Now lets find the red key door... Go back south for a few paces then head into the alley way that is to the right. You should see a door. and to the right, a dirt path. (If you go to the path, you will be attacked by a skeleton, guarding the exit.) Head into the door, kill the Joker, then go inside the other door in the house. Pick up the key, and tehn open the door in the hallway, then enter into this room, kill the Joker, shoot the window, but don't jump through. You will see a skeleton. Snipe him, and pick up the Dimension Detonator ammo. You now have the temple key. Go back to the large church, and get ready to rumble. You will see a cross wehn you open the door, go either left or right, and you will see a Joker on each side. Now, kill the Jokers, and enter inside the church. Destroy all the glass, and then fire go inside the room opposite of the big cross. Inside there is the key and a switch, now you can get out! But head north to the room on the left of the cross on the north end of the room. Inside there is a Grenader, except when you pick it up, a wall will close in on you, while another one opens up that has a Skeleton inside. Rush up to the Skeleton, (with a shotgun) kill him and get out! (in the other room there is ammo). Go to the door that the now dead skeleton was guarding, and your done! The extra stuff: Remember when you picked up the red key, that there was a small hole that lead to a room where there was a skeleton? well that room leads to one room that has vikings and hogs(right) or two punishers and a crossbow (you probaly already killed the punishers if you took the stairs to get to beerland) well here are some things in this section of this level that you should know. *In the first library, where you flip the book switch, that said a fence has opened, this means to the left and right hallways in the crossbow/punisher room , there were fences that sealed off goodies. Now you can go retrieve them. *There is a second library, and inside there is a secret: there is a door that opens up when you flip a correct switch, here is a diagram to where you can find the switch, open door, etc: Shelf Shelf Shelf Shelf Shelf 2 has the switch on the right side on on the 1 2 the wall wall *make sure that you be careful around this area, lots of enemies. *around some kegs near the north area of the level, there is one pack of Land mines. OK were done with that! Lvl 2: The Fortress of Desolation Weapons Available: Shotgun, Super shotgun, Volcano, BladeGun, Arrow gun, Grenader Enemies: Viking, Werehog, Zombie, Joker You start before a huge castle, with some shotgun ammo behind you. Don't go inside yet though, there are a few things to look for outside... To the left there is a small alleyway that leads to a sort of courtyard, there are three werehogs inside, and a Super shotgun. There is also a fence type door that opens when you get near. Fire one round into the room inside, and a werehog will be running around, he can't really reach you since he does not realize how to get to you. Kill him and then enter the room. This is a graveyard, there are three Zombies and one Joker. There is also a helmet and a key. Now you can go back to the castle, simply jump on the bridge, and fire on the the section that is up. It will fall, and you can jump across. Inside there are two Jokers, and a Shotgun. In the next room there is a switch in an alcove to the immediatte left, but be ready, cuz when you flip the switch, three vikings will come from doors, there is a Grenader in one of them. Once done with them, enter the next room to the north, and take the hall to the right, leave the one to the left for a later time. There is a viking and a werehog in this one, kill them all (METALLICA!) Now there is a switch in the south end of the hall. This opens two doors(one spiked and another one that has a switch. First flip the switch, then RUN north,(through the room with the tables) and into the next one that has the spiked door, and a small room that has opened up. Enter that small room. Now this will only last for... 'bout 10 seconds. Save the game, this might take a while. Once inside the room, flip the switch, a hall will open up to the left, there will be a werehog waiting there, once dead enter the room, and go around the corner, into the room with pillars. There are three vikings, and one werehog. BE CAREFUL! Now once taken care of, don't enter the castle library, you'll need a key. Enter the other room to the north, there will be one viking, and three Jokers in the king's throne. Kill them, and enter the room at the northeast corner. There will be a Joker waiting, and a key. Now go to the library, and look for a hidden switch. There are two Jokers in this room... but here is a drawing of where the switch will be: the door(its a sercret one) books on wall /\ switch is on this side! Wall of books 1 books on wall Now the door will open, go inside, jump over the barrels, and flip the switch, now its time to go back to the hall , and enter the left side. There is armor there, and go up up the stairs... a Arrow gun. Now you must enter the acid.... go to the northeast side, and , kill the igor the viking. Pick up the Volcano, and then follow the path, then go into the acid once again, go north, then enter the hall to the right, and jump on the ledge. Kill the vikings there, and follow the path until you see a hall with acid for a floor, and a key in the distance... Go there, get the key, then go back to the ledge. Now you will have to get out of the left hall, go back north, and finally enter the ledge to the right. There is a fence, and there are a few werehogs in the well room. Once they are dead, enter the room, and look for a switch. This switch will open the spiked door to the west, the thing is that it will only open for 3-5 seconds, and it is hard to make on time. I recommend bumping into the switch while you face the alley were the door is, that way there is more time.( none wasted while turning around) The other way is to turn on god mode. Either way, once in the last section of the level, go south, pickup the Grenader, and look at the windwill. Blast it ( {in a swedish accent} yah) , and you can now enter lvl 3... Lvl 3: Subterranean Horror Weapons Available: Every weapon Enemies: Joker, Werehog, Skeleton, Punisher, Viking Ok when you start off, a werehog is running at you! Use the Volcano and kill him, then proceed forward in the corridor. Then go in the turn, and you shall see two Jokers and one werehog. Kill them, and then pickup what ever ammo is in this room. Now look for the corridor that has granite walls. Its opposite the door that needs the key. Careful there are Jokers on platforms and a viking at the end of this room! Now once in the granite corridor, go forward, and open the door. In thhis room there is an open pit with acid, there is also a werehog. Kill the hog(make him go in the acid, it's fun!) and look for a switch on the west side of the wall, fire it, and the platform out in the middle of the acid will go left, making it possible for you to go get the Super shotgun and the Grenader ammo out at the far end of the room. Now go into the acid, and head east into the room. Jump on the ledge, get the BladeGun, and then Go into the corridor that is to the right, and go to the door. Open it, then go inside. There is a werehog, and two Jokers. There is a Volcano in a room to the east, but you will have to head for the west, then turn left into the corridor with the skeletons. Once they are dead, keep on going forward, until you reach another room with more skeletons, and a key. Then go into the corridor to the north, this will lead back to the beginning, but don't jump down, instead, pickup the goodies around the beginning, and then proceed forward. You'll reach some vikings, and an invisibility mask, now go forward, and jump down, back to the hall with the door that needs to be opened. Open the door, and a werehog will be there waiting, go into the room, and there will be a Dimension Detonator up there. I won't tell you how to get it, that is for you to find out...(hey, I wans't to tell everything in this game!) Head west into a corridor, but don't enter the next room. If you notice that there is a small crevice in the hall, that is were a pendulum is. Go forward, and you will be diced to perfection. To "turn off" the pendulum, shoot at the switch on the othjer side of the room. Then go forward. Open the door, and four Jokers will be there. Kill them, and go get the key at the end of the room. Now go back, into the room with the Dimension Detonator, and open the brass key door. Now in this room there are LOTS of werehogs. Once they are dead, go north, kill the Joker there, and head northwest, this is were you will have to go. In this huge room, there is a legion of vikings, a crossbow, and a key. The only you'll survive is if you pickup the crossbow, pickup the key, and fire your way out of there! Save before you enter this room! Now back outside, go back to the hall were there where many werehogs, open the gold door, and there will be two punishers. Kill them flip the switch, and head north to the room with the acid in it. Jump on the platform to the right(the one w/ the Volcano), then jump on the one across from you. Jump on the next platform , and jump onto the ledge. There are three werehogs in here. Kill them, and then exit! Lvl 4: Phantom's Keep Weapons Available: Shotgun, Volcano, Arrow gun, Grenader, Dimension Detonator Enemies: Every enemy except the Punisher On the spot, two Vikings will attack you. Kill them, and then turn around, go left or right, going southward, and flip the switch you see. Then o back to the start, and a new room will have opened up. Now, Flip the switch, and two werehogs will appear. Kill them and then go to the room on the left. The wood thing has opend, so go inside, there is a small bridge with Jokers on the other side. The bridge goes over lave, so don't use weapon 8 on the bridge. Now go onto the other side, flip the switch, and some Vikings will appear behind you. Kill them, now go back on the bridge, and flip the switch to the north, and go back to the start. Once back there, take the room to the right. In this room, once you enter, a Joker will appear behind you. Kill him, and then go to the east, go up the stairs, and then get on the platform. Now face were the key is, and jump. There will be two Jokers waiting, so kill them first. Now you have the gold key, go all the way back to the area with the switch(not the beginning) and open the wood barrier. Go forward then take the right side, and open the door. Take the crossbow, and some vikings will appear. Take them out, and flip the switch. Now, Go back and take the door to the left. Now go all the way until you reach the acid pool , there is a secret way to get across, some platforms that rise, well here is a diagram of were to go: North ____________________________________________________ | | | | |--------------| | | | | |--------------| | | | | | | ____________|____|__________________________________ South There is a Dimension Detonator on the other side, now go east, and open the door, run through the room whcih is acutally a trap, and into the next one. PHANTOM! he fires bats, and attacks with swords, so keep a distance. Now to kill him , flip the crosses on the wall in this order:Left , Right, Up. Now just lure the phantom into the light, and them watch him die! The exit then appears in the previous room! 1 more... Lets rock! Episode 4 - The Stonghold of Evil Lvl 1: The Weird Dimension Weapons Available: Shotgun, Super shotgun, BladeGun, Arrow gun, Land mine Enemies: Mong, Faust, Mincer, Alien captain, Alien soldier When you start, there is just a buch of crates around you. No monsters... Don't open the door yet... Jump on one of the low crates, and onto the tall ones, and there is a double barrelled shotgun there. There is also some crossbow ammo too. Now open the door, and look left, A FAUST!, go back into the room, and wait for him to come, aim at his arm with the rocket launcher. Once dead, go into the hall, and head left, and around the turn. There are two minchers there. Get a good distance and kill them. Now go on forward. There is some armor where the Mincers were, and if you look to the west of the armor, there are two Alien soldiers. Kill them and go forward then go around the turn into the door at the end of the hall. When you enter the room that has opened, there is a Mincer to your direct right. Kill him, and a Mong will come after you. Kill him too, and proceed down the hall. Go left, and there is a Mong and a Faust, plus a crossbow. The crossbow is booby trapped, so take that one last. When you finally pick up the crossbow, a room open in front of you( or back) and another set of Mong/Faust shall be there. Also, an Alien captain should be coming your way, so take care of the Faust/Alien captain first. Go down the hall, and a Mincer will be there, waiting. Once dead, open the door at the end of the maz-y style hall, and kill the Alien captain and soldier waiting there for you. Kill them, and enter the room, pickup the key and Land mines, and Go BACK all the way to the start, and open the green door. Be careful , an Alien captian has teleported in where the corssbow was, and a Mincer is now roaming the halls. So is a Faust. Once the green door opens, enter the room with the two Mongs, and the two Mincers behind the glass. Kill the Mongs, and break the glass, kill the Mincers. Now to opn the door to the left, Look for those two light, switchy things behind the glass. Aim for both with either your mouse, or use A or Z. MAKE SURE CROSSHAIRS ARE ON! Now once shot, the switches open the door, and you will have to kill a Mong and Alien captain. Go up the stairs, then take a right, this is where the two switches were at, and then finally reach the end of the hall, and go down the stairs. There should be a Faust and Mong there to greet you. Say "HI" and then kill them. Here's a tip: To get a reflector, go right, were an Alien captain is, kill him, and shoot the alcove behind him. Now turn around, head left, once at the end of the hall, turn right, at the end of the hall, turn right(or just simply,, go through the hall, until you reach the two AC), and there are two corridors, each has a AC. Use the reflector on them. In the corridor in front of you, there is a Faust. There is also a helmet. Once everything is dead, Pickup the goodies, and then open the door, and enter the room. Take the hall to the left, kill the three Mongs there, flip the switch, then go to the other side of the room that has a door, it is now open. Take the teleporter. THAT WAS FUN! wasn't it? oh well... When you are in this strange room, take the door on the right, and enter the O shaped hall. Kill the Mong, Faust, and Alien soldier, and head south, opposite the exit. There is an Alien captain there, and a BladeGun and switch. Head north, and you can now exit the level! Lvl 2: Forsaken in Time Weapons Available: Super shotgun, Grenader, Volcano, Dimension Detonator, Land mine, Arrow gun Enemies: Mincer, Alien captain, Alien soldier OK when you start, trun around, and there is some shotgun ammo behind you. Go forward, and go left once in the corridor. The door To the right requires a red card, but the other door can be opened. When you open the door, notice the raised platform to the left, there is an Alien soldier there, and a Mincer. Kill them and go ahead to the Super shotgun, when you pick it up, some Mincers will appear behind the wall that opened up. Kill them, and ntoice this: the middle panel on the green wall, behind the Mincers can be opened when shot. Inside, there is helath and Dimension Detonator ammo! No turn around, and enter the corridor on the left. Then make the turn when you reach it, there are three Alien soldiers there, and a neat looking light room, go to the exit at the south, but don't enter the corridor in the next room. That corridor has a switch, that when flipped open two doors, but in the process, the corridor will close itself. So do this very quickly, once out, there is armor to the left, and health/ammo to the right. Once taken, take the armor corridor, and kill the Alien soldiers at the east end of the corridor you are in. (the fenced off one) then go west, then make the turn north, there should be two Mincers there. Oh there is also a door that opens once you flip a switch, it is in this corridor, to the left(it looks different, like paneling, and it is lit up). Now, head east, to the alcove where a Dimension Detonator lies. There is also a switch that needs to be flipped with a green card. Keep on going east, then make the turn south, and enter the door. The green card on a platform, but it is booby trapped. There are two Alien soldiers in this room, and once you take the the key, two room will open to the left and right, with more Alien soldiers. Once room has armor, and the other health. Now go back to the green switch, and flip it. Turn around, and a room opens with an alein soldier, and the red card. But when you take it, the wall in front opens, and an Alien captain will be there, waiting. Once dead, take the corridor to the door that opens to left. In this room there is a switch, once flipped take the other corridor to the right, and there is an Alien soldier waiting there too. Kill him, and enter the corridor, open the door, and kill the Mincer in front of the switch. This switch open a wall, but it also opens a wall within this corridor that holds two Mincers. Kill them, and then get out of the corridor. The wall has opened, that leads back to the netrance of the entire maze section. There are also two Alien soldiers there, kill them, and then take the corridor right, then head north, and that secret wall that I was talking about earlier has opened, take the goodies inside, and go all the way back to the red key. Be careful, an Alien captain has teleported in when you started. Open the door, and you will enter in a strange looking room. There is a swithc at the end, this opens a door at the last alcove to the left. Once inside this system of tunnels, the tunnel to the left leads to some Grenader ammo. the one to the right leads to health, and theway forward is the way out. At the end of the tunnel, take the right, and get the crossbow. Then turn around , and head north, to the area with the Volcano. There are two Alien captains there, kill them, and then go into the fenced off area, and make the turn, and kill the Mincer there. There is a stair, and a trench next to it. Take the trench first, and kill the Mincer, and take the armor. Then take the stairs all the way to the corridor with the platforms. You'll be on one of them, to get out of here, look left, and there is an open area, with a light, simply run across the platforms, and you'll be able to make it. Now look south, and there is a Mincer, kill him and enter the maze. The maze has an Alien captain and soldier, plus a Mincer. There is a specific area where there is a room shaped like a donut, it has a switch, that opens two wall to the left and right, and they both have captains, and added bonus of ammo. Now go back to the switch, look to the left, and fire at the wall. It looks like an alcove. Enter the tunnel, pickup the Land mines and armor, but don't hit the fan. Then get out. You will have to go back to the start of the maze, and neter the locked door. Once it opens, there is an Alien captain there. Kill him and enter the fan system. There are two turns before you actually reach the fan, It pulls you in, and you will get diced. There is a tunnel to the right, so while being pulled in, strafe right to inot the tunnel, and kill the soldier there. In this tunnel system, there is a Mincer, kill him, and go forward until you reach the green paneled wall. In this room there are two Mincers, and once you reach the inner room (go in either side, turn right or left, and then enter the alcove with the blue key, this open three rooms with Mincers. Kill them, enter the room in front of the alcove, pickup the Grenader, and get out, when you reach the fan again, RUN forward. Then once out, reach the blue door. Open it...you'll enter hell, four Alien captains, and two Mincers. The reflector is on the right. There is also armor to the left. Kill them all, flip the two switches, once on the left, the other on the right, and we are out of here! Lvl 3: Abreast with Terror Weapons: Super shotgun, Arrow gun, Grenader, Volcano, Dimension Detonator Enemies: Mong, Faust, Mincer, Alien captain, Alien soldier I memorized this level by heart. Lets rock! When you start off, there is nothing but a turn to the right to go on. Go there, but get ready for a fight since there is a Mincer there. There is also a Super shotgun there with some ammo. Now forward to the door at the end of the tunnel, and open it. You will a spectacular room with four teleporters, with each one at a corner of the room(they are all fenced off), and a door to the north, east and west. The north needs a yellow key, east won't open from the outside. West is where you have to go. Oh, and there are two soldiers in here too. Once they are dead, enter the west door and get in the hall. There is a soldier to the left, and a soldier to the right, once they are dead, take the left way, and make the turn right.(the left is where the shotgun ammo is) There are two Mincers there waiting, kill them, and keep on headin' forward ( this room is also shaped like a donut) until you reach the fenced off room with the key, and the next room. (it is at the nothend of the donut) There is an Alien captain there, so kick his ass, Then enter the hall from where he came from, there is health to the left, Land mines to the right, there is also a mini corridor to the northwest, enter it, and kill the Mincer in the alcove to the left. In the next section of the hall, there is another Mincer, once dead, follow the hall to the switch, and go back to the main hall (the one with the now dead Alien soldiers) A wall has now opened... it now has an Alien captain! Kill him, and then go to the other side of the hall(the one with health) and enter the next hall, this one has some crates at the eastern end, and Mincers at both ends of the room. Kill them, and go to the crates. Kill the Alien soldier there, and look northward... there are expolsive barrels, these barrels hide a secret hall that leads to a chojin mask. Destroy them, go inside the hall(at the northeastern corner of the hall) and get the mask. There should be a Mincer on your tail, kill him, and then to the hall with the Grenader ammo. Pick it up and a wall will open up with two Alien captains. But with the chojin mask, it is all easy. Now to get inside I will not tell you.... lets just say it opens with much work. Now to the crates at the end of this hall, jump on them, and pick up the Volcano. Look southward, and an Alien captain will be there, kill him, and enter the door that he was guarding. There are two Mincers in here, so kill them, and flip the switch on the middle post. The door at the northend side will open, and there will be a wall beyond that that will open too, it will reveal two soldiers, and some ammo. You have now opened two of the fences containing the teleporters. So go to the awesome room with teleporters, oh another wall has opened up with an Alien captain, so kill him first. Once at the room, take the teleporter to the left, and you will end up in a room with the green key. Take it, and two Mincers will appear out of nowhere. Kill them, and go back to the teleporter room, and take the tele to the right. You will appear in an open air room with the yelloy key in the middle. If you want to, lay a Land mine in each corner of the room, behind the diagnal pillars. Pick up the key ,the wall to the northeast corner will open, with a switch and an Alien captain. Kill them, or if you lay a Land mine there, the Land mine will do the job for ya. Then go flip the switch. The switch open another wall to the southeast corner, with an Alien solider and a switch. Flip this, and another wall to the southwest, another Alien captain with another switch. Then flip this, and the last wall opens, northwest, with an Alien soldier with the last switch. Flip it, an get ready to rock... all the walls to the north ,east, west, and south open with two Alien soldiers and two Mincers. There is one that has a door, go there. When you open it, you will see two soldiers in a cage. Kill them, and go beyond the cage to the armor and the switch. Flip the switch, and two doors open, one to the left and right, enter the right, and there is a Mincer, also in this hall there is amini hall to the east, with a switch that opens another fence in the tele room. Now get out of this hall by going out the door to the south, and entering it. Then go straight across to the door that has opened up, and kill the soldiers in there. The follow the hall to the soldier that guards the stairs, and to the soldier that guards the helmet upgrade. Now there is a problem, how do you get across this pit? Well notice that light? It is like the light switches in level 1. Fire on it, and a platform will come out, and you can go across. The next section does not have a switch, so you will have to go to the hall to the left, and enter a room with high pillars. There is a switch to the north, this opens a mini hall to the south that has a Mincer and a switch. Flip the switch, and another hall across the room opens up with another combo of Mincer/switch. Flip the switch, and there will be a new hall, enter in it, follow it to the other side of the pit, and then go down towards the door near the left. There will be a Mincer there, kill him. Now enter the door, and you are now back at the teleporter room. The tele to the left has opened. Enter it, and you will be teleported to a wind tunnel, where you have 'bout 5 seconds to strafe right into a room or else you get teleported back to the start, If you make it (don't worry, you can try again) you will enter a room with a buch of cool stuff, and you can now go back to the wind tunnel, and get out. You will now be back to the start. There will be two more Mincers there, so kill them. Head to the yellow key door to the north. There will be a soldier there, so kill him. Then head to the corridor in front of you, kill whatver is inside, pick up the Dimension Detonator, kill more things, and then follow the hall to the edge of the end of the platform, in front of the many U shaped upside down pillars. To get across to the end, simply run across. You can now exit. Lvl 4: Beyond Reality Weapons Available: Grenader, Dimension Detonator, Arrow gun, BladeGun, Super shotgun, Volcano Enemies: Mong, Faust, Mincer, Alien captain, Alien soldier, Time Judge When you start, there is an awesome pic in front of you, it is a door that needs a key... so take the door to the right of you, and enter the room. There is a Super shotgun, and some soldiers will be there... kill them all, and take the goodies. A Mincer will be coming at you, so kill him, and enter the next hall, head left, and flip the switch. (the one with the Alien captain) Kill it, flip the switch, and turn around and kill the other Alien captain there. Then go up the stairs(the ones with the Dimension Detonator ammo) and take the armor. The go back outside, and kill whatever resistance you meet. Then enter either door, and then take the guns here, and the time key. Now go towards the cool looking door. Open it, and two Alien captains are there waiting... Kill them, and then take either way, killing both soldiers... taking both guns... Now don't enter the last room yet, snipe the Mincer in the last room. Then enter.... ugly ass mother------isn't it? How do you kill it? Well jump on either platform, and then with the Dimension Detonator... fire on his mouth. He will open it wide, and you can jump in. Then you get teleported into his hearth chamber..... Take out his heart! AND ITS OVER... OR IS IT? Congrats!
